Alien Desert

Portion of a Julia set based on the formula (z^20 + 1) / (z^20 - 1) + c, c = 1.7 - 0.12i. Since the formula tends to the value 1 as z gets large, this formula has no "escape" region, so the color map is based entirely on fixed point convergence.
