Fractal of the Week for March 8, 1999

Crinkle

This fractal is a Julia set based on the formula 1/(z^4 + 1). The resulting expression has the constant c = -1.33 +0.055i added to it. The "stalks" orbit trap was used with the default color map set.

At the end of the page is a version of "Crinkle" in 1024 X 768 format.
